Over time as more detail of ancestral lines emerge, this page will outline those family lines and any research being undertaken. 

Who Are the Jackson's?

Jackson is a common name with many people having emigrated to Australia over time and creating new family lineage here.

The spouse of Thomas Driscoll b. 1902, was a  Jackson. Evidence is sketchy of ancestry earlier than 1900.  But like her spouse, she is from a long line of large families.

And who is Bragg?

IN the late 1800's, a gentleman from the Atlantic ocean arrived in Australia and became linked to the Maynard family. From Mauritius, Edward Charles was the father of Margaret May Maynard.

Of interest is the depth of available records from Mauritius to investigate this lineage, as Edward's lineage may have originated from Europe, in some previous generation.  Mauritius has a very chequered history of political occupation.
