The Family of ....
- Driscoll:

Ancestral lineage from County Cork, Ireland commencing with
emigration to the Goldfields
of Bendigo, Victoria (Australia) in the 1850's.
- All lines are resourced back to the mid 1800's, both Paternal and
Maternal. The connections across to England and Ireland are not
clear other than working class people trying to find a better life.
- However, there are no convicts or skeletons emerging.......yet..
Update 2007:
Records for John Driscoll (born about 1830 in County Cork, Ireland) have
referred to a desertion from an English Navy vessel in early 1854.

- Maynard:
-
Ancestral lineage from the parish of Stratton, in county Cornwall, England
commencing with emigration to Port Phillip, Victoria (Australia) about 1852.
Much of the Maynard ancestry is focused around the Stratton Parish,
including involvement of Maynard's in the church there.
Likewise earlier ancestors lived in other parish's of Stratton including
Bude and Launcells.

Meanwhile, around Stratton shire, ancestral lineage of Scown and
Wannacott on the maternal side merges in the early 1800's and is
mapped back to early 1700's.
- Maynard ancestry branches off in the early 1900's through a Maternal
line to Braggs and then to a long history of Sellick / Zellake.
This lineage arises from central Europe around the 1600's and emerges
as Sellick in Devon Cornwall, England.
- Theofanopoulos:

Ancestors from the region of Egeon, central Greece with more
recent emigration to the inner suburbs of Richmond,
Victoria (Australia) in the 1960's as part of post-war immigration.
- The Theofanopoulos name is very widely distributed across Greece
today as revealed in the current Greek White Pages. The name is
old and there is known recorded history of many generations that is
being tracked down at present.
